Why Léman hope?
Why Leman hope
After cancer, the return to a "normal life" is not easy for young people. Treatment saves lives, but leaves its mark: physically, emotionally and socially. Isolation, loss of confidence, feelings of being different... the consequences are very real, both in the short and long term.
Léman hope is aimed at these young people, offering them :
- A boost of confidence after the ordeal of illness
- An opportunity to forge strong ties with other young people who have lived through the same storm.
- An enriching adventure in a safe, caring environment far removed from everyday life
- An introduction to sailing to regain a taste for independence
- A time to assert yourself, reclaim your place... and look to the future.

We are looking for volunteers all year round for two types of missions:
- Those who make the project sail: skippers, instructors, shore presence, logistics... in short, being there when it counts, both on deck and alongside.
- And those who help us spread the word about Léman hope: translators, photographers, video artists, social networkers, ambassadors for a day or for ever... each with their own talent, each with their own impact.
