Swim4Lémanhope 2025, a great wave of solidarity on Lake Geneva: a human and sporting adventure in aid of young people in remission from cancer.
From August 27 to 29, 2025, no fewer than 920 swimmers will set off in relays to take up an extraordinary challenge: to swim from Geneva to Chillon, passing through the ports and emblematic towns of Lake Geneva: Gland, Rolle, Morges, Lausanne, Cully, Vevey... so many stages that will punctuate this unique and supportive route.
106 teams, including 46 companies, have come together with a shared goal: to restore independence and hope to young people in remission from cancer through the Sailing Trips Hope Sailing Trips . The participants come from all walks of life—company employees, amateur swimmers, experienced athletes—each contributing their strength, energy, and motivation.
This year marks a new milestone for Swim4Lémanhope: more participants, more teams, more energy for solidarity. The event continues to grow, while retaining its human and authentic spirit, forging links between companies, volunteers and Léman hope beneficiaries.
Two ambassador relays will also be taking place, hosted by athletes and influencers from French-speaking Switzerland, including Malorie Blanc (skier), Louis Morano (cliff diver) and Sara Dubler (Weuro presenter & influencer).
At the heart of the event, the sailboats and their skippers, accompanying guests and parents of Léman hope children play an essential role. Thanks to their in-depth knowledge of Léman hope, they become living relays of information and awareness, conveying to swimmers and companies the history, mission and impact of the foundation. In this way, each participant can concretely measure the difference his or her sporting commitment makes in the lives of these young people.
This year, the initiative takes on an even more touching dimension: the father of a young participant in Sailing Trips Hope will join the swimmers on behalf of his company. By swimming laps in Lake Geneva, he is turning his athletic challenge into a concrete act of support and solidarity for his own daughter and for all young people in remission.
