Léman hope: Become our local hero!
The Léman Hope Foundation is delighted to announce its commitment and active participation in a series of charitable events throughout 2024. These events offer a unique opportunity to share our story, exchange experiences, build connections within the local community, and, most importantly, raise funds to finance a Sailing Trip every young person in remission from cancer in Switzerland. To successfully carry out these various missions and expand Léman hope’s visibility, we need your help!
Challenge sportif
Taking part in our charity and sporting challenge goes far beyond the physical aspect. It's an opportunity to surpass yourself, whether by running, swimming or taking on other sporting challenges, while contributing to a cause. Create your kitty, your team and take the plunge, giving meaning to your next event !
Volunteers
Another way to support Léman hope: get involved as a volunteer ready to commit to meaningful missions. Whether you can spare an hour, a day, or consider a long-term commitment, there are many ways to support Léman hope!
- Volunteer work on land 🏝 e .g. , welcoming families at the start and finish of Sailing Trips, welcoming guests at sporting events, helping set up booths, handling logistics for purchasing supplies for Sailing Trips, spreading the word about the cause, and distributing medals.
- Volunteering on the water 🌊 e.g.: steering the follower boat, accompanying transfer boats, preparing supplies.
- Volunteer skills 🔎 e.g. photographer, videographer, professional paddler, first aiders, English/German translator, graphic designer.
- Medical volunteer work 🏥 e .g. , a nurse on hand throughout the Sailing Trips, advice from a pediatric oncologist.
You can all show, in your own way, that there are many ways to contribute to Léman hope. By joining our team, you are directly involved in our mission to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in remission from cancer. Here are some wonderful examples of how we can help young people in remission from cancer in Switzerland to change their story and become aware of their own strength to help them find their dream again.
